Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and found the back of the net during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, who had been sidelined, took the ice alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who also featured in the NHL. Despite the loss, the Sharks found a positive moment as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
