BYD has ended production of its cheapest electric car after low demand forced the move. In spite of its affordability, sales stayed very low all year, so the company pulled the plug. As of now, no plan has been announced to replace it yet.
The brand then introduced a range of fresh models at a motor show. The line-up spanned a small city runabout to larger SUVs and crossovers. Crowds and media in the UK turned out in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
